Komunitas Sepadan is part of the Indonesian NGO Sepadan Ruang, which focuses on sustainable spatial planning and environmental conservation, particularly in coastal areas, rural areas, and areas with ecological and social vulnerabilities. Adopting a collaborative and community-based approach, Komunitas Sepadan serves as a participatory platform that encourages active community involvement in spatial management processes, from planning to implementation at the local level. Through awareness-raising, capacity building, and ongoing mentoring, Komunitas Sepadan strives to position communities as key actors in creating inclusive, equitable, and regenerative spatial planning, thereby maintaining environmental balance while providing tangible and sustainable social and economic benefits for current and future generations.
